Ansolo & Maxum Team for 'Yin Yang': Hear Ansel Elgort's New Tech-House Collaboration

Earlier this month, Ansel Elgort delivered a curveball song of the summer contender with "Home Alone," his debut release as DJ/producer Ansolo. But like any music fan knows, a new artist can't rest on the laurels of one track and the Divergent and Fault in Our Stars actor-turned-musician is already back at it with a new collaboration that further proves his promise as a major player in the electronic scene.

Premiering exclusively on Fuse, "Yin Yang" pairs Elgort with the rising 18-year-old EDM star Maxum for a pulsating, bouncy banger that should jog the memories of dance-music fans with its sample of Wolfgang Gartner and Francis Preve's 2011 collab "Yin."

After hanging out together at Ultra Music Festival 2015, Ansolo and Maxum (née Nick Henriques) tell Fuse the cut is the result of finding the right house sample and "just having fun and experimenting on the track—thats why there are so many weird things that happen in the break from the way the pads change phase, to the way the strings rise; it was all done not following the 'rules' and thats why we love it."
